Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of up to 50 students, utilizing evidence-based practices to support student growth and development.
  • Assist with speech and language assessments and evaluations, working closely with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to develop comprehensive therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with SLPs to implement therapy plans and monitor student progress, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development of tailored education plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Document therapy sessions and student outcomes accurately, maintaining detailed records to inform future therapy plans.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification, demonstrating expertise in speech-language pathology.
  • Experience in a school-based setting, with a proven track record of success in providing therapy services to students.
