Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transportation Specialist to join our Community Meals team in Saraland, AL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations daily, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport materials to and from assigned destinations, adhering to all DOT regulations and state/city traffic laws.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of company equipment before and after each trip.
  • Maintain open communication with dispatch to report any issues or delays.
Requirements:

Essential:

  • A valid state driver's license for commercial vehicles and/or a medical card from an approved DOT medical examiner.
  • An acceptable driving record and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Desirable:

  • At least one year's experience driving commercially.
Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly rate is $16, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and voluntary UNUM offerings.
