High Reliability Assembly Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Inspection and Testing Expert to join our team at Knowles Corporation.
Estimated Salary Range$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on industry standards and market conditions.
Job SummaryThis role involves conducting quality assurance inspections and tests on electronic assemblies, subassemblies, parts, and components.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position requires:
- Conducting electronic tests on capacitors to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to detect if the capacitors fail.
- Reading test forms to understand customer test specifications, working with backlog and WIP to locate parts in the computer system, reading and understanding test work instructions, performing according to specifications, and determining testing procedure and equipment to be used.
- Testing functional performance of parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature change, voltage, and humidity. Setting up test instruments according to specifications.
- Connecting capacitors to be tested to test equipment. Reading dials or digital displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, temperature, humidity, and capacitance/df. Comparing results with specifications and recording test data and test results on inspection and testing forms.
- Analyzing test results on defective units to determine if the product meets the customer's specification. Maintaining manual or computerized records of production and inspection data.
