Multicraft Technician

Perdue Foods is a leading provider of premium proteins, and we're seeking a highly skilled Multicraft Technician to join our team. As a Multicraft Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability of production machinery and mechanical processes within our facility. This is a unique opportunity to work in a multi-maintenance discipline capacity, performing tasks that require mechanical, electrical, and electronics expertise.

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery and automated systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting.
• Repair and calibrate equipment to original OEM specifications.
• Install and test new equipment, machines, and wiring to meet specifications.
• Use predictive maintenance tools to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
• Communicate effectively with equipment manufacturers and read equipment manuals to ensure timely repair of equipment.
• Train others on proper operation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
• Work with continuous improvement teams to provide technical support and input to team objectives.

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience performing multi-craft activities.
• Proficient in mechanical systems, electrical/electronic systems, and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment/systems.
• Ability to restore equipment to original OEM specifications.
• Knowledge of mathematics and ability to make correct calculations when completing maintenance activities.
• Experience with MS Office applications and ability to navigate the internet for maintenance-related information.

• Work in a plant environment with exposure to wet and moist floors, temperatures, and chemicals.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs and move equipment occasionally.
• Must wear and use protective and safety equipment as directed by the Company.
