As a Quick Service Restaurant Team Leader, you will play a vital role in assisting the General Manager with the daily operations of the restaurant. This position entails overseeing the restaurant's functions in the absence of the General Manager. You will be responsible for training, mentoring, and enhancing team member performance. If you are a spirited individual who enjoys teamwork, this role is tailored for you. Your responsibilities will include delivering friendly and professional service to our customers, preparing our menu items, and ensuring the restaurant remains clean and inviting. You will support the General Manager in creating an outstanding guest experience and fostering a work environment that encourages engagement and embodies the Company values.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the General Manager in maintaining a guest service-oriented team, ensuring all customers are greeted warmly to feel valued.
  2. Support the General Manager in optimizing operational efficiency regarding transactions, restaurant cleanliness, and inventory management.
  3. Help with the recruitment, training, and development of new team members.
  4. Participate in food preparation and safety protocols, ensuring a consistent guest experience by following Company procedures.
  5. In the absence of the General Manager, complete necessary reports, manage product orders, and handle banking tasks as required.
  6. Lead by example in implementing Company values, programs, processes, and policies.
  7. Guide the team to meet service time, quality, and accuracy standards, supervising and coordinating tasks fairly and consistently.
  8. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members, taking on the role of Shift Leader when the General Manager is unavailable, and reporting performance issues appropriately.
  9. Prioritize safety for both guests and team members within the restaurant.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
  11. Must be capable of fulfilling the essential functions of this role and be prepared to assist in any work area as needed.
Working Relationships: Collaborate with Restaurant Clerks, Team Members, Shift Leaders, General Manager, District Manager, Brand Manager, and various Corporate personnel and vendors.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education: N/A

Preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Experience: 6 months in a supervisory role within a restaurant setting

Preferred Experience: 1 year in the food service industry

Preferred Certifications and Skills: National Food Safety Certification required, but can be obtained within 60 days of starting. Valid Driver's License is necessary.

Scheduling: This is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, as our locations may operate around the clock. Weekend and holiday availability is essential.

Work Environment: Full-time hours expected.

Travel Requirements: 5% - occasional travel to deliver deposits to the bank. Reliable transportation is essential.

Physical Demands: Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand or walk for 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, and work in cooler environments. The noise level in the restaurant is typically moderate.

Additional Information: Specialized attire is required in food service establishments. Slip-resistant footwear is mandatory, along with attire that meets brand standards.
