We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Maintenance Associate to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a key member of our Club Support Center team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse and club facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our members and team members.
  • Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
  • Remove trash and debris from the parking lot, cart corrals, and exterior of the club.
  • Ensure that carts are well-stocked at the club entrance.
  • Verify that all carts are in working order and clean.
  • Return new and unused merchandise to the sales floor.
  • Perform maintenance and cleaning duties, including wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, washing glass, emptying trash receptacles, and pulling pallets.
  • Maintain outdoor grounds of club property, including cart corrals, sidewalks, and outdoor trash receptacles.
  • Operate the floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler machines in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies and ensure supply areas are clean, neat, and organized.
  • Perform minor and routine building repairs and notify management when major repairs may be required.

Requirements

  • Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
  • Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
  • Prior retail or wholesale experience preferred.
  • Must be over 18 years of age to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas.

Working Conditions

This role requires frequent exposure to company-authorized cleaning agents and occasional exposure to paint and company-authorized chemicals. You will also be working in a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
