Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Supervision: Provide structure and support services for the clinical team treating adults with substance abuse diagnosis and/or co-occurring disorders.
  • Client Participation: Ensure client participation in services, adhering to established regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment, following Infection Control Guidelines at all times.
  • Incident Reporting: Complete and forward copy of Incident Reports and any other safety/risk issues to the BHT Supervisor when involved or witnessing an incident.
  • Emergency Situations: Assist in emergency situations as directed, conducting Waived tests as required, i.e., Urine Drug Screens, Dip Sticks, Breathalyzer, etc.
  • Client Rules and Responsibilities: Ensure client's rules and responsibilities are being followed throughout the day, reporting noncompliance to Supervisor.
  • Direct and Monitor Clients: Direct and monitor clients, responsible for adherence to all policies and procedures of the agency.
  • Staff Meetings and Trainings: Attend staff meetings and trainings as scheduled, completing intakes when required.
  • Confidentiality: Understand and maintain confidentiality of client information and records.
  • Supply Management: Maintain supply list for assigned buildings (as requested).
  • Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean environment for clients during shifts, adhering to the agency's Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Experience: One (1) year of experience as BHT in a healthcare facility, knowledge of facility and housekeeping department policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate with co-workers, work independently in assigned areas.
