Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Registrar to join our team at Maury Regional Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for creating a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor, or staff while performing the tasks of registering, routing, or escorting patients, family, or visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients to receive medical services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Obtain demographic information, validate insurance, and collect payments.
  • Answer and/or refer questions received from patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
  • 2 years of Related Healthcare Experience Preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Healthcare Terminology Preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Strong work ethic and energy Preferred.
  • Thrives in a demanding and professional environment Preferred.
  • Excellent business judgment and customer service skills Preferred.
  • Able to distill patient financial information and present essential info in a concise manner Preferred.
