Our client, a leader in the staffing industry, is seeking a Senior Accounting Professional who will leverage analytical thinking and effective communication to implement accounting principles and practices.
This role will focus on various aspects such as cost accounting, production analysis, account reconciliations, and adherence to accounting standards.
Pay rate:
Salary range of 77k to 115k based on Education and Experience
Schedule:
Mon- Fri 8am-5pm
Job Responsibilities:
Operational support tasks include but are not limited to:
1. Gross Margin reporting and analysis
2. Monitoring and forecasting variable costs
3. Analyzing and reporting Profit & Loss variances
4. Conducting other complex analyses as necessary
5. Preparing monthly and quarterly calculations and analyses for Excess and Obsolete inventory, LIFO, and LCM
6. Preparing and entering month-end journal entries
7. Reconciling monthly inventory and cost of sales general ledger accounts
8. Occasional weekend work and travel as required.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Business with a focus on Accounting
- 5-7 years of experience in Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
