Cardiac Catheterization Technician

Position Overview:

The Cath Lab Technician plays a crucial role in the cardiovascular department, providing essential support in diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting is required.

Essential Certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification is mandatory.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
  • Verification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is necessary.

Work Schedule:

  • Days with on-call responsibilities.
  • 32-hour Guaranteed Time Equivalent (GTE).
  • Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, consisting of 5 shifts of 8 hours each.
  • On-call duty is expected 1-2 times per week.
  • Availability for on-call duty every third weekend.
  • Flexibility to float to other areas as needed.
