We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Program Coordinator to develop a comprehensive program that integrates academic, enrichment, and physical activities at a K-8 educational institution.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage: $30 - $34 based on qualifications
- Full-time commitment: 40 hours per week

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum 48 college units) with at least 2 years in a related field
- Availability for a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and TB test
- Commitment to a full academic year and summer program schedule
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups including staff, students, and community members
- Proficient in computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, etc.)
- Experience in classroom and behavioral management for groups of up to 20 students
- Capability to create and maintain a safe and engaging learning environment
- Experience in staff recruitment, supervision, and evaluation
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and integrity
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborative Engagement:
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders including community organizations and educational partners.
- Work in partnership with school leadership and staff to enhance program effectiveness.
- Facilitate program orientation and maintain ongoing communication with families and the school community.
- Lead a team of after-school staff to promote a positive educational atmosphere.
Program Management and Quality Control:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure program compliance and quality.
- Guarantee the safety and supervision of children, fostering a supportive environment.
- Develop inclusive, culturally relevant learning activities.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Utilize data and feedback for continuous program enhancement.
- Effectively handle student enrollment and scheduling to achieve attendance objectives.
Administrative and Financial Oversight:
- Maintain organized and complete records.
- Track and manage student attendance accurately.
- Review and approve staff timesheets and invoices.
- Submit necessary documentation and reports in a timely manner.
- Participate in relevant meetings and training sessions.
- Perform additional duties as required.
