Responsibilities:

  • Manage the field aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Maintain daily logs, punch lists, and closeout processes to ensure project completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, ensuring adherence to industry standards and quality control.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, promoting fair treatment and fostering business opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of work orders, identify potential problems, and implement solutions.
  • Lead site teams, arrange temporary facilities, and expedite long-lead items as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site operations teams to establish a cohesive project atmosphere.
  • Maintain OSHA 30 certification and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Excellent skills in reading and coordinating construction drawings.
  • Manage subcontractors on-site to meet project quality and deadlines.
  • Assist with estimating for commercial projects.
  • Control access to the site by vendors, subcontractors, and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
  • 5+ years of industry-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Construction/Restoration Industry experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills (equivalent to those needed at a GED level).
  • Ability to climb roofs, crawl into confined spaces, and carry a 28' ladder.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills using English language.
  • Mastery of building processes and best practices.
  • Ability to organize necessary resources to meet tight deadlines.
  • Project lead experience preferred.

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
