We are excited to announce a job opening for a talented Healthcare Assistant Professional to support our healthcare services in Lawrenceville, Decatur, Brookhaven, and Marietta clinics.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to contribute to the success of our healthcare team. As a Healthcare Assistant Professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and supporting office operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding patient care, greeting and escorting patients to examination rooms.
  • Become familiar with clinic computer systems and software, maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns via phone, addressing multiple language lines.
  • Schedule appointments, accommodating patient needs, including transportation arrangements and rescheduling.
  • Contact insurance companies to verify patient eligibility, ensuring efficient billing processes.
  • Perform various clerical tasks, such as copying, filing, faxing, and data entry.
  • Maintain procedure rooms, adhering to OSHA regulations and sterile techniques.
  • Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures, following instructions and doctor preferences.
  • Prepare patients before and after procedures, educating them on post-procedure care and medication instructions.
  • Prepares IV solutions, applying knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations.
  • Train new staff members and assist ultrasound technicians as needed.
Requirements and Compensation
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant Medical Assistant experience required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA/CMA/RMA) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and strong computer skills.
  • Spanish and English proficiency required.
  • Competitive salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
