Aveanna Healthcare is a leading provider of home healthcare services for children and adults with complex medical needs. We are seeking compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurses to join our team in Kissimmee and surrounding areas.

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for dedicated nurses to make a positive impact on patients' lives by providing one-on-one care ranging from 8 to 16-hour shifts. Our Private Duty Nurses assist patients transitioning from hospital care to home, ensuring they receive continuous support and attention.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as directed
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with family members and caregivers to promote patient health and well-being
Requirements
  • Licensed LPN/LVN in the state of practice
  • CPR certification from American Red Cross or equivalent
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
