Job Title: Analytical Chemist II - 3rd Shift
Job Description:
The Role:
Entegris is seeking a highly skilled QA Analytical Chemist II to join our team in Billerica, MA. The successful candidate will work in a clean room environment, conducting routine QA product testing of filtration and membrane products from manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct QA testing and provide analytical support to production of micro-contamination control and membrane products.
- Prepare and test samples using Ion Chromatography, TOC, FTIR, NVR, Karl Fischer, and ICP-MS.
- Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.
- Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operation, and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
- Remove and dispose of waste chemicals in accordance with company-established safety procedures.
- Handle requests appropriately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of relative work experience.
- Strong scientific approach and high attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment.
- Able to work independently and follow established priorities.
- Ability to work 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6:30am.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Established experience running analytical instrumentation.
- ICPMS experience.
- Experience within an ISO 9000 work environment.
- Cleanroom experience.
