Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in evidenced-based practice, education, and patient-centered care. This role involves examining and treating patients independently and collaboratively with physicians. You will ensure proper illness and injury care, assist in disease prevention management, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the day and evening call schedule when necessitated by physician schedule/hospital needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal diseases.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic test results to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and management of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient information and records.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and therapies as needed.
  • Provide patients with education on disease prevention, medication management, and health maintenance.
  • Travel to outreach locations to provide services to patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • National Board Certification (required).
  • BLS certification (required).
  • Experience working in GI or pain treatment (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, electronic health systems, and databases (such as EPIC) (required).
