We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor to join our faculty at Navarro College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching nursing courses, developing curriculum, and mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Curriculum Development: Teach nursing courses to students, develop and implement curriculum, and assess student learning outcomes.
- Student Advising and Mentoring: Advise and mentor students in their academic and professional development, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Service and Professional Development: Participate in college-wide service initiatives, engage in professional development activities, and contribute to the growth and development of the college community.
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Current licensure in the State of Texas.
- Experience: Evidence of teaching abilities and clinical expertise in subject area of teaching responsibility.
- Teaching Experience: Teaching experience in an entry-level nursing program.
- Clinical Simulation Experience: Experience with clinical simulation.
- Community College Experience: Prior teaching experience in a community college environment.
- Variances from Regular Working Hours: Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
- Busy Working Environment: Busy working environment with numerous interruptions.
