Job Title: Dietitian Specialist

This is a full-time position at Person County, NC. The primary purpose of this role is to serve the public with respect, courtesy, dignity, and compassion while providing comprehensive and hands-on nutritional services for low- to high-risk participants of all ages that need dietary counseling for the Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) as required by Federal and State WIC Program guidelines.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for fulfilling the duties of the Breastfeeding Coordinator and the WIC-Designated Breastfeeding Expert (DBE) to oversee the planning and implementation of breastfeeding promotion and support activities within the local agency and community.

We are looking for a highly qualified professional who has a strong background in nutrition and health education. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition, or Nutrition, or a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetics Registration, or a Bachelor's of Science degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Community Nutrition from an accredited four-year college or university and two years nutrition experience.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $44,809 - $57,419 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, and more.
