About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY). As a leading healthcare provider in New York City, we offer a dynamic and challenging environment for medical professionals to grow and develop their skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including pediatrics, obstetrics, neurology, orthopedics, and plastics.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement anesthesia plans, taking into account patient medical history, current health status, and surgical requirements.
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, monitor patients during procedures, and provide post-anesthesia care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the State of New York.
  • Experience in block placement in upper and lower extremities is preferred but not required.

  • Competitive annual base salary: $390,000* (board eligible); $400,000* (board certified).
  • Additional compensation for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • 401(k) company contribution: 3% immediately vested, 7% after one year of service.
