Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a Multiskilled Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating in multiple modalities within our Imaging department, producing accurate diagnostic examinations, and performing various technical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate in two or more modalities, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Specials, Nuclear Medicine, PACS, and Mammography, with minimal supervision.
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and responsibility for designated areas or procedures.
  • Coordinate and prioritize procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
  • Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered in the billing system.
  • Demonstrate competence with all age-specific groups to ensure proper completion of studies.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards as outlined by State and Federal agencies, the hospital, and other regulatory entities.
  • Protect the confidentiality of patients and maintain the integrity of patient information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and current state licensure.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, with three years' experience in a clinical Imaging setting highly preferred.
