Job Title: Driver Manager

Welcome to Schneider National Inc., a leading provider of transportation and logistics services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Manager to join our team in Marianna, FL.

Job Overview:

The Driver Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of truck drivers, ensuring that they are equipped to meet the needs of our customers and the business. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to identify and implement creative solutions to improve retention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make safety-conscious decisions that ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Balance the needs of our customers, drivers, and the business.
  • Provide direction to drivers and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Manage driver payroll and home time.
  • Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement creative solutions to improve retention.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Good at problem solving.
  • Able to work with a variety of teams.
