Childcare Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Part-time Floater to support the daily operations of our daycare program at ZHHL Corp Evelyn Street Day School.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of all ages, Monday through Friday, from 12:00 to 6:00 or 1:00 to 6:00.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation in the classroom setting.
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and classroom management.
• Provide high-quality childcare services, including supervising and engaging with children in various activities.
• Support the development of children through various techniques and support the lessons provided by the lead teachers.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to maintain open and transparent communication.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in childcare and education.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a daycare setting.
• Proven skills in classroom management and behavior management.
• A strong understanding of age-appropriate behavior.
• Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification (not required but helpful).
• Ability to work part-time hours on a daily basis.
• A passion for making a positive impact on young lives.

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
