We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to work with our customers' project managers, internal task or functional staff, and support personnel to execute the AFNCR ITS Program Mission. This role involves leading cross-functional project teams, integrating various functions, and ensuring project success.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing small and medium-sized projects. They will direct project team personnel, manage cost and schedule, ensure contract compliance, and serve as customer interface. The individual must possess strong leadership skills, enabling them to engage multidiscipline work teams and respond to business needs.
This role also involves creating project management plans, setting expectations, and ensuring project plans are aligned with organizational procedures. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional project stakeholders to develop project scope, objectives, goals, and deliverables. Additionally, they will monitor and track project dependencies, ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and remain in scope.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's with 2+ years of prior experience. Currently possess an active Secret security clearance. Solid understanding of Project Management and Project Management Office functions. Ability to build and maintain relationships, partnerships, and external networks.
