**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Central Sterile Supervisor to join our team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As a key member of our Central Service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sterile processing and patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel in the Central Service department, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and departmental standards.
  • Oversee the preparation and sterilization of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct employee competencies and training programs to ensure staff are equipped to meet the demands of the role.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and implement best practices.
  • Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with hospital standards.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of Central Service experience.
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) certification.
