Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated physician to provide clinical services within the scope of granted privileges. The ideal candidate will have expertise in internal medicine and family medicine, with a strong background in medical evaluation and review. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing patient consults and conducting medical record reviews to determine physical readiness waivers.
  • Providing physical examinations and determining suitability for isolated, remote, overseas, or operational assignments.
  • Completing DES referrals for patients identified in monthly CDEB meetings.
  • Serving as Impartial Medical Review Provider in cases referred by other providers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current unrestricted license to practice in any of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • An M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical college or university.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM).
  • At least one year of experience within the last two years as a physician in a family practice or internal medicine setting.
