Job Summary:
The Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify and develop treatment plans for individuals facing various communication and swallowing challenges. This role involves:
  • Administering evaluations and tests to diagnose speech-related issues.
  • Creating personalized treatment strategies based on clinical findings.
  • Delivering therapeutic services to clients, monitoring their progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Instructing clients in therapeutic exercises to enhance their speech and language capabilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, policies, and quality requirements.

Collaboration:
The Language Pathologist will work closely with a variety of professionals, including:
  • Healthcare providers
  • Case managers
  • Insurance representatives
  • Community organizations

This position may also involve supervising assistants and students during client care activities.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess the appropriate educational background as mandated by state licensure requirements. A valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist is essential. Additionally, candidates should maintain necessary competencies and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
