Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital member of our healthcare team at The Orchards, providing exceptional patient care and support to our residents. As a CNA, you will work closely with our licensed nursing staff to deliver high-quality care and services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care services, including bathing, toileting, feeding, and grooming, within the framework of the individual resident's activities of daily living and functional abilities.
  • Document all information pertaining to each assigned resident on each shift accurately and timely, including meal percentages, intake and output recordings, and any significant changes in resident condition.
  • Transport residents to and from activities, meals, and therapy as indicated, and participate in all required/mandatory in-services and in-service programs.
  • Meet all state requirements for recertification and complete and submit all required documentation to the state to ensure timely certification renewal.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Competency Program, with current certification in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Legally Authorized to work in the United States.
