Neonatal Nurse Specialist

As a Neonatal Registered Nurse with TotalMed Staffing, you will provide specialized care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or Neonatal settings. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, monitoring, and managing neonates, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in NICUs or Neonatal settings.
- Assess neonates' health status, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
- Perform neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development.
- Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care.
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- Two years of recent Neonatal RN experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
