As a key member of our team, the Overnight Cleaner plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our members and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all common areas, including restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and Black Card Spa facilities.
  • Vacuum floor surfaces and operate the floor scrubber machine according to established schedules.
  • Properly dispose of trash and maintain trash cans and cleaning centers.
  • Replenish supplies and paper products as needed and communicate inventory needs to the Club Manager.
  • Clean and dust items high off the ground, such as ceiling fans, TVs, and rafters.
  • Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
  • Operate washing machines and dryers.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment, including cleaning the mop bucket and emptying vacuum bags.
  • Daily responsibilities may also include greeting members and guests, assisting with questions or concerns, answering phones, executing retail transactions, and resolving member concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work the overnight shift.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing experience is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Demands:
  • Continual standing and moving throughout the club to accomplish tasks during shift.
  • Continual communicating in person or on the phone to exchange information during shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Will encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
  • Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Moving self in different positions, including bending and twisting, to accomplish tasks.
