Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
The Receiving Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the efficient and precise receipt of shipments.
You will oversee the receiving process, ensuring the safe unloading of products from delivery vehicles, and maintaining accurate records of received items.
Your meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities will facilitate the seamless transition of products from delivery to display.
Lead and coordinate the receiving team to guarantee timely and precise unloading, sorting, and processing of incoming shipments in alignment with company policies and safety standards.
Examine incoming products for damages, discrepancies, and correct labeling, taking necessary actions to resolve any issues and collaborating with relevant partners.
Conduct daily analyses of negative inventory, investigating root causes and proposing effective solutions.
Collaborate closely with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to manage the flow of products and address any receiving-related challenges.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential receiving challenges to prevent disruptions in the supply chain.
Facilitate store-to-store transfers and UPS transfers efficiently.
Coordinate backhaul requests, ensuring proper wrapping of all pallets and loading the truck.
File all receiving documentation and complete the Daily Forklift Checklist.
Operate forklift, pallet jack, Telxon gun, and other retail equipment.
Utilize general office equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, calculators, and computers.
Engage in cross-training for versatility across various departments and responsibilities.
Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to gain new knowledge, enhance existing skills, and stay informed on the latest industry developments.
Provide friendly, proactive, and professional support to both internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Physical Requirements
Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
Able to navigate and access all facilities.
Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
Close vision for computer-related tasks.
