Certified Athletic Trainer

Job Summary

Provide and coordinate athletic training services to high school and junior high student athletes in Tulsa Public Schools as well as employees of the district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide athletic training services to student athletes, including injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate with coaches and athletic staff to ensure athlete safety and well-being.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs for student athletes.
  • Collaborate with school administrators to ensure compliance with OSSAA and OSDE regulations.
  • Precept athletic training students from the collegiate/university level as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in sports medicine or related field.
  • Previous experience working with coaches and athletes.
  • Athletic Trainer's Certification by the National Athletic Trainer's Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
  • Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Oklahoma (LAT) or eligible for licensure within 180 days of hire.
  • Member in good standing with the Oklahoma Athletic Trainer's Association.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100lbs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite.
  • Proficient in Rank One software.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Teacher Certification is a plus.
