PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Stop & Shop is in search of a Part-Time Closer to become a vital part of our management team.

Part-Time Closers maintain a positive presence on the sales floor, utilizing their outstanding interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members, thereby fostering a welcoming and secure atmosphere.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee total store management duties as necessary;
  • Implement and uphold high standards of food safety and sanitation across all store areas to comply with relevant policies and procedures;
  • Reduce store expenses through effective resource management, proper equipment use, and identifying cost-saving opportunities;
  • Ensure the ongoing organization and maintenance of the grocery backroom to facilitate proper product rotation and enhance team productivity;
  • Manage the company signage program, merchandise weekly distributions, seasonal products, and order shelf stock and promotional items;

Qualifications:
High school diploma required; some college experience preferred;

Experience: - A minimum of 4 years of prior grocery retail management experience preferred;

Essential Skills:
Strong interpersonal, decision-making, delegation, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
