About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Benedictine Nursing Center in Mt Angel, OR. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect quality care to our residents, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care activities and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants and other support staff as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in long term care.
