A successful Maintenance Technician will possess a strong practical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and a diverse skill set in various maintenance and renovation activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently while adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute make-ready tasks and respond to general service work orders efficiently.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the property to identify exterior maintenance needs and report findings.
  • Assist in the installation and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other essential systems.
  • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure they operate effectively.
  • Inspect and maintain alarm systems for fire and safety compliance.
  • Perform manual repairs as required, including fixing locks and replacing windows.
  • Engage in pest control activities, including the application of insecticides.
  • Carry out general maintenance tasks such as landscaping, painting, and carpentry as assigned.
  • Fulfill on-call responsibilities as designated by the property manager.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting techniques.
  • Familiarity with general maintenance processes and methodologies.
  • Proficient in using tools and understanding common appliances and devices.
  • Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good physical condition and stamina.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Compensation: $23 per hour
