Job Type: Part-time

Description: Seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to work at our contracted county jails in the state of New York.

This opportunity provides a great source of supplemental income and a valuable experience in a public health setting, while making a difference in health outcomes for incarcerated individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and breakdown of room

• Sterilization of all equipment

• Take and process x-rays

• Assist in 4-handed dentistry

• Work with portable/mobile equipment

Requirements:

• Graduate of Dental Assistant Program or on-the-job training

• One (1) year or more dental assisting experience - preferred

• Active x-ray certification

• CPR/BLS

• Valid Driver License

• Reliable Transportation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills
