Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at the Citizen Potawatomi Nation's Fire Lake Entertainment Center. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, attractive, and well-functioning casino and administrative facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all areas of the casino and administration are clean and clear of trash.
  • Perform dusting, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces, as well as emptying trash cans and ashtrays.
  • Keep restrooms and other areas clean, supplied, and sanitary.
  • Provide friendly and courteous customer service.
  • Assist with moving furniture, gaming devices, and other equipment as needed.
  • Clean windows and sweep and mop floors as scheduled.
  • Mop, clean, or sweep up accidental spills as soon as possible.
  • Load and unload supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure entryway mats are maintained in a clean condition.
  • Participate in training to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Observe and implement all prescribed safety practices and methods.
Requirements
  • General knowledge of microbial growth prevention and intervention.
  • General knowledge of infection control.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturer's Safety Decals on chemicals and supplies.
  • Knowledge of possible adverse reactions when mixing chemicals.
  • Knowledge of all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of evaluations methods concerning cleaning products and equipment.
  • Knowledge of overall housekeeping operations.
Working Conditions

This position is physically active in nature and requires extensive physical efforts such as climbing, lifting, and reaching. The incumbent may be required to lift items weighing up to 70 lbs.

The work is performed in a corporate setting and a casino within the confines of the property in a climate-controlled environment.
