**Overview**

Our team of CRNAs work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and anesthesia technicians to provide safe and effective anesthesia care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Evaluate patients preoperatively and develop a personalized anesthesia care plan in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist.
* Provide high-quality anesthesia care, monitoring patients' physiologic condition and adjusting the anesthetic plan as needed.
* Safely transport patients to and from the anesthetizing location and ensure proper care during the postoperative period.
* Participate in post-operative evaluation, care, and follow-up, and perform additional related duties as a nurse anesthesia within the NYS scope of practice.

**Requirements**

* Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA).
* Master's Degree in Nursing or related field required; Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP or DNAP) preferred.
* Unencumbered license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
* Certified/Recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification by the American Heart Association required.
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association required.
* 1 year of experience as a CRNA preferred.
