PowerApps Administrator

Job Title: PowerApps Administrator - DoD Support

We are seeking a highly skilled PowerApps Administrator to support our Department of Defense (DoD) projects. As a PowerApps Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing PowerApps environments within a secure, mission-critical federal setting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage and maintain PowerApps environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
* Configure and monitor PowerApps, Power Automate, and other Power Platform tools to meet DoD project needs.
* Perform routine audits, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity and compliance with DoD policies.

**Security & Compliance:**

* Ensure all PowerApps solutions are secure and compliant with DoD regulations, including DoD365-J guidelines.
* Manage user roles and permissions, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place.
* Work with security teams to implement necessary measures for data protection, encryption, and risk management.

**Support & Troubleshooting:**

* Provide technical support for PowerApps users, addressing issues and providing solutions in a timely manner.
* Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, coordinating with other IT teams as needed.
* Create and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and solutions to ensure clarity and continuity.

**Integration & Optimization:**

* Integrate PowerApps with other Microsoft services, such as SharePoint and Office 365, as well as third-party applications.
* Optimize PowerApps solutions for performance, scalability, and user experience.
* Implement best practices for PowerApps development and administration, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

**Collaboration & Communication:**

* Work closely with PowerApps developers, solution architects, and end-users to ensure smooth operation and implementation of solutions.
* Collaborate with DoD stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that PowerApps environments align with project goals.
* Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for utilizing PowerApps and related tools.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in PowerApps administration, with a focus on supporting federal projects.
* Proven experience with SharePoint on-premises and Office 365 administration within a DoD context.
* Experience integrating external data sources in Office 365 DoD365-J via on-premises data gateways.

**Technical Skills:**

* Strong knowledge of PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power Platform components.
* Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and Office 365 search and search index administration.
* Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies and the ability to apply them to PowerApps environments.

**Soft Skills:**

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of security and compliance.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

**Security Clearance:**

* Active DoD Secret or higher clearance preferred
