Project Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to join our team at JKAE. As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for creating and managing design and construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD, working closely with Project Managers and other designers to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement design concepts and construction documents for residential, multi-family housing, resort, and California public education projects.
• Collaborate with architectural team, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed designs and construction documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Architect licensure in good standing.
• At least 8 years of relevant architectural work experience.
• Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Effective written, graphic, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and oversee project team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Residential architectural design experience through all design phases.
• Resort, hospitality, and recreational project experience.
• Proficiency in Navisworks, SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience in contract administration and commercial or institutional projects.
• Working knowledge of building codes and regulations, including ADA and Title 24.
• Experience with Sustainable design and LEED AP certification.
