Job Title: Barista

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Just Love Coffee Cafe in Smyrna, TN.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will possess a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a keen eye for detail in preparing high-quality beverages and food items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a positive and welcoming experience for all guests, ensuring a high level of service and attention to detail.
  • Consistently complete all assigned tasks with excellence, adhering to company procedures and standards.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, ensuring compliance with all codes and regulations.
  • Foster a working environment that aligns with Just Love's core values and principles.
Expectations and Benchmarks:
  • Run successful shifts, meeting targeted ticket times and exceeding customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, including preparation methods and ingredients.
  • Contribute to sales growth by delivering exceptional customer experiences and executing local marketing initiatives.
Reporting Structure:

The Barista will report directly to the Lead Barista, who will provide guidance and support in achieving job expectations.

Probationary Period:

The first 90 days of employment will be a probationary period, during which the employee will be evaluated on their performance and adherence to company policies.

Training and Development:

Just Love Coffee Cafe will provide a comprehensive training program, including a written manual and daily coaching, to ensure the Barista is properly indoctrinated with company procedures and processes.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation package may be adjusted at management's discretion to support business objectives, and any changes will be communicated prior to the start of a new payroll period.
