Position Overview:

As an MRI Technologist at Ellis Medicine, you will work under the direct supervision of the MRI Senior Technologist and the MRI Medical Director. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe operation and execution of diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing MRI technology.

Work Schedule:
Thursday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate MRI scanners in accordance with established protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
2. Engage in effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals, providing support and answering questions.
3. Screen and position patients appropriately, utilizing necessary coils for optimal imaging results.
4. Monitor patients throughout the scanning process, responding to any emergencies that may arise.
5. Maintain accurate documentation of imaging studies and related paperwork.

Qualifications:
1. Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program with a current ARRT registry.
2. Valid New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
3. One year of experience in MRI preferred.
