Job Responsibilities and Qualifications
As an AM Admissions/PACU Registered Nurse, you can expect the following responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the care of post-surgical and post-procedural patients.
- Utilize your specialized skills to cater to specific age groups, including adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations.
- Possibly rotate to areas outside your assigned service area, performing only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency.
- Oversee and direct the care provided by assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or a current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLS & PALS Certifications.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience is required, with PACU, Ambulatory, Critical Care, or ED experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience is required.
