Marine Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Technician to join our team at Wolfes Way Point LLC. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical repairs on various types of boats, including Stern Drives and Inboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repair of marine engines, transmissions, drives, and generators
• Conduct mechanical repair work, including engine removal, disassembly, and inspection
• Overhaul or replace carburetors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters, pumps, electrical and fuel systems
• Rebuild engine cylinder blocks and rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels
• Replace and adjust taillights
• Perform service calls by boat and by car, as well as rigging of new boats
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all vessels and troubleshoot all makes of engines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in marine repair or a related field
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
