Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Rheumatologist to join our team at Augusta University. As a key member of our Division of Rheumatology, you will be responsible for providing clinical services, conducting research, and participating in educational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to patients with a broad spectrum of adult rheumatologic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, gout, and psoriatic arthritis.
  • Conduct research in the field of rheumatology, with a focus on advancing treatment, education, and research.
  • Participate in educational activities, including teaching and mentoring students, residents, and fellows.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in rheumatology and implement evidence-based practices in the clinical setting.
Requirements
  • MD degree and board certification/board eligibility in Rheumatology.
  • Academic rank, tenure status, and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
