Position Overview:


The Operations Manager will oversee the organization of the Transplant Center initiatives, working under the guidance of the Transplant Center Program Director. In collaboration with the Transplant Center Nurse Manager, this role will be accountable for program planning and development, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, formulating policies and protocols, and managing communications and outreach for the Center.

The Operations Manager will also participate in departmental and hospital-wide performance enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Program Director of the Transplant Center to develop policies in alignment with various state and federal regulatory bodies, including UNOS/OPTN, The Joint Commission, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

• Work alongside the Transplant Center Quality Team to create and oversee quality improvement initiatives.

• Ensure program compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Manage and enhance programs and services that support the Transplant Center.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with 7 or more years of relevant experience in financial, regulatory, compliance, or program management roles, or

• Master's Degree preferred with 5-7 years of experience in similar fields.

• RN preferred.

Compensation:
The compensation for this position is competitive within the market.

The pay range for this role starts at $35.91/hr, with the final offer determined by your education and experience.


Remote Work Policy:

This position is not eligible for remote work, meaning the selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations.
