Job Summary:

Maintain a safe and efficient delivery process for customers using a company-provided or rental vehicle. Ensure accurate records of deliveries, inspect and maintain delivery vehicles, and provide exceptional customer service on order and delivery issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver customer orders safely and efficiently within a service area, interfacing with customers on order issues.
  • Load inventory into trucks and unload orders at customer sites using powered and non-powered material handling equipment.
  • Review order manifests to ensure customer orders and daily routes are complete and accurate.
  • Perform pre-and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain routine contact with the distribution center to receive instructions on delivery interruptions, such as traffic congestion or missing orders.
  • Prepare and maintain vehicle and customer order records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contact customers to provide updates on delivery statuses.
  • Provide feedback to management on escalated customer service and sales-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience delivering merchandise to customers using a box truck or similar vehicle.
  • No more than 2 minor accidents in the past rolling 3 years.
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the past rolling 3 years.
  • If hired, we run an additional driver background through our Foley System.
