- Deliver direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in line with established standards and practices.
- Execute circulation and/or scrub nurse responsibilities in the operating room, assisting surgeons during various surgical procedures.
- Implement care plans, including administering medications, collecting specimens, and providing clinical treatments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care provided.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and addressing spiritual and psychosocial needs. Assess and educate patients and families based on their specific needs.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional health of patients.
- Perform circulation and/or scrub duties during surgical interventions.
