Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician

We are seeking passionate Emergency Medical Technicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care and provide basic and advanced medical treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action using progressive EMT protocols.
  • Utilize EMT skills with medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
  • Communicate with patients and their loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively with all allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State EMT Certification
  • State Driver's License
  • BLS Certification
  • Valid CPR Certification
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
