About the Job

This is a rewarding career opportunity for an experienced RN who wants to make a difference in the lives of our residents. You will be responsible for supervising nursing personnel, administering medications, and conducting daily checks on residents to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete all required RN record-keeping forms and charts during admission, discharge, transfer, and other important events.
  • Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
  • Facilitate the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, including making necessary arrangements for transportation and packing.
  • Administer professional services, including catheterization, tube feeding, suction, wound care, specimen collection, and other medical procedures as outlined by our facility's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with consultants as required and implement recommended changes under the guidance of the Director of Nursing (DON).
Requirements:
  • A graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a recognized RN program with a current licensure in the state of Kansas.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a willingness to collaborate with both professional and nonprofessional personnel.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
