Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at 10 Monument Health Rapid City Hospital, Inc. as a Dialysis Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced dialysis environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement and coordinate care delivery, ensuring patient progression and safety.
  • Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment, including health teaching and health promotion.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in South Dakota.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on dialysis or critical care.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
Physical Demands

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances. The ability to lift over 25 pounds and work designated shift lengths, including night shifts, is essential.
